The Guardian Angels
are

volunteers who provide public safety and education in our neighborhood streets our schools and cyberspace.

We include successful professionals as well as young people on the rebound.

We are from the inner-city the suburbs and even the countryside.

We are men and women and young people from all colors and backgrounds.

We all work towards a universal goal that everyone has the right and deserves to be safe.

Curtis Sliwa

Curtis Sliwa is a pioneer who forged his grassroots activism into a global vocation. Over the past three decades, Curtis Sliwa's programs and initiatives have been recognized by Presidents and Prime Ministers, Governors, Senators and Mayors, as well as by leading businessmen, veterans groups and many other associations.

REGIONAL DIRECTOR
Erik Wong

Erick (Confront) Wong joined the Guardian Angels in 1998 with the Los Angeles group patrolling the streets of Venice. After Erick's tenure with the LA group, he joined the NYC chapter becoming a 24/7. In 2001 Erick eventually re-opened the San Diego chapter and is still the chapter leader till this day. In addition to his role as the San Diego chapter leader, Erick is the current California regional director. He oversees all chapters in California and travels up and down the state constantly to assist in their efforts.

Patrick Kent

I first joined the Guardian Angels in the early 90's. I was with the group for about three years. Since then I went on and worked with people with disabilities as I continue to this day. I recently joined the group again in 2005 and quickly became the Chapter Leader of Sacramento. I have a strong passion to help others in any way that I can. I find volunteering rewarding, knowing that I am having a impact on other's lives. I enjoy being a role model for others, especially young children. So if you are reading this and thinking that you'd like to help others, I say "Dare to Care" and join us!

Rocci Twitchell

My name is Rocci and I am a avid martial artist - I train and study the art of Maphilindo under Danny Inosanto. I fought as a amaturer boxer and I am currently a licensed security officer and bodyguard for the rock band Blue Oyster Cult. I have wanted to be a Guardian Angel since 1979, and finallyjoined the group in early 2007 to help ensure safety within our communities. I found out the best way to do so is to get involved. So I encourage those that want a change to get involved as well.

My name is Juan Lopez and I was an original member of the Sacramento Guardian Angels in the early 80’s. I recently joined again because this is a organization that stands for being a positive role model, empowering community members to become involved and educating in issues regarding to, but not limiting to drugs, violence, abuse and other issues.
